Why We Built
Map the Fight

A donor routing platform built to cut through the noise and get your money where it matters most — quickly, transparently, and without confusion.

Mission Statement

Map the Fight exists to make political giving easier, more transparent, and more effective. Our goal is to connect donors with the races where their support can have the most meaningful impact, without adding complexity or uncertainty.

Project Background

This platform was created because the current donor landscape is fragmented. There are thousands of campaigns and organizations, and it is difficult for donors to tell which races are truly competitive and which contributions can sway the outcome.

Map the Fight uses a curated priority framework to surface the most important states and races in the current election cycle. That means you do not have to sort information from dozens of sources — we combine it into one easy map-driven experience.

Why This Initiative Exists

The initiative exists because every donor deserves a confident path to support meaningful races. Not all donations are equal, and timing matters. By identifying critical battlegrounds and presenting them clearly, we help donors avoid wasted effort and focus on the campaigns that need support now.

How Donors Use the Platform

  • Browse the interactive U.S. map to see which states are currently prioritized.
  • Hover or click a highlighted state to reveal the race context and support options.
  • Choose a candidate, organization, or race group and follow the donation button to the official third-party page.
  • Return anytime to see updated priority states and new opportunities as the election cycle evolves.

Candidate & Organization Donations

Every “Donate” link on this site sends you directly to an official campaign or organization donation page. Map the Fight does not process funds, and it does not take a fee. We are a routing tool only.

Is support for the website separate?

Yes. If you choose to support this website directly, that contribution is completely separate from candidate and organization donations. It helps maintain the platform, cover hosting costs, and keep the map updated.
